Biographical/Historical Note
Susanna Rebecca Graham was born in 1848 in Nova Scotia and moved to Portland, Maine around 1857. She published her first book, aimed at Sunday school readers, Yensie Walton in 1879, adding three more books to the series by 1895. She also published a number of other books, mostly religious in nature.
