Biographical/Historical Note
Lee Agger authored several books, including Women of Maine and Women of New England. In addition to writing, Agger worked to establish the Maine Joint Environmental Training Coordinating Committee, which has given an award in Agger's name since 1990. Lee Agger died in 1989.
