Elizabeth Lester Poole collection
This collection includes Poole's CV; correspondence; published photography and writings; published photos and articles; and materials related to her work at Stanley Museum, including posters, brochures, slides, Stanley family interviews, and clippings. MWWC holds copies of a book about Chansonetta Stanley Emmons signed by members of the Stanley family, Lizzy Poole, and author Marius B. Peladeau, and the periodical Fish Rapper Digest (later called Radical Journey).

Elizabeth Willard collection
This collection includes correspondence from Elizabeth Willard to her family while at camp and while attending Wheaton College. There is also a selection of letters written to Elizabeth from family and friends. Also included is a photograph of the girls at Camp Bendito, and composition books kept by Elizabeth and her sister Frances.
Ellen James collection
This collection includes correspondence, family history materials, poems and drafts, autobiographical essays, spiritualist communications, photographs, a Monhegan Island scrapbook, and a commonplace book. Also included is a three inch bronze bust of Ellen James.

Fitch family correspondence
The Fitch family letters contain letters from multiple members of the Fitch family. The bulk of the letters are from Frances (Fannie) Anderson to her cousin Mary Perley (nee Fitch); these letters are posted from Paris, Savannah, Georgia, and Bridgton, Maine. The second largest collection of letters is from Almira Fitch to her daughter, Caroline. There are also multiple dance hall cards from Portland, Maine dances throughout 1848 signed by Henry Perley.

Georgiana Souther Barrows papers
This collection includes correspondence from Georgiana to her husband and her mother-in-law, and from her husband when he was in the Maine Senate. There are several verse manuscripts, one of which ("Dirge") is signed by Georgiana Barrows. Also included are 2 sheets of music (one unsigned manuscript, one published piece of music by Edward Howe, Jr.) There are also several photographs, including one of Georgiana, her husband and children, taken circa 1890.

These papers are organized into two series. Series 1 consists of book manuscript material pertaining to Blackberry Season: A Time to Mourn, A Time to Heal, published in 1993 by LuraMedia. Included are drafts of essays and chapters, correspondence, worksheets, illustrations, revisions, proofs and printer’s mechanicals produced between 1983 and 2009. Series 2 consists of three folders of materials pertaining to other projects, including correspondence, clippings and memorabilia.

Harriet Beecher Stowe collection
The collection of approximately a dozen files includes ephemera and one piece of correspondence related to Uncle Tom's Cabin, one tract by Stowe, 20th century published scholarship about her literary and personal life, two undated stereoscopic views possibly at her Florida residence and an undated photograph of the author. Also an extensive collection of her works published in magazines and newspapers.
Harriet Elizabeth Prescott Spofford collection
This collection consists of the author's pieces published in late 19th and early 20th centuries magazines, biographical material, a pencil sketch of Spofford, and research about Spofford by scholars. Approximately one dozen periodicals containing over 40 of the author's works are housed in the periodical collection. Approximately two dozen books from the author's personal library, listed in folder 009, are also available.

Harriet Plimpton collection
This collection includes typescripts, correspondence, photographs, a 1905-1909 diary, and memorabilia. Also in collection are an 1812 math exercise book once belonging to her great-grandfather Elias Plimpton and a small sculpture of a mother duck and five ducklings made of metal with a slate base.
